This space was completely redesigned from a non-functional basement/laundry area, to a master bedroom & bathroom. We created a treelike master retreat by keeping an existing structural wood post, and adding new french doors opening up to a beautiful canyon view.
Project Highlights
We needed to work with a unique roof pitch in this area, and so we maintained the skylight feature in the built-in tub & shower area. You'll notice the floating cabinetry allows the room to feel more spacious while we integrate tall acrylic shoji-screen doors in the adjoining closet area, providing practical storage right alongside the tub area.
