The most playful way to integrate an eat-in kitchen is by 'dressing up' the island or peninsula. In this case, we created an open concept layout so the kitchen flows nicely into the dining area. Whether it's a place for the kids to do their homework, or the chef to entertain their guests, we love how this project took shape in both function and integrated style to the home.
Using decorative leg details on this built-in peninsula, we created some contrast introducing a warm wood top, useful for both storage and entertaining the chef's guest of honor.
